Accredited Chief Executive
The Accredited Command Executive (ACE) and Foundations of Command for Unit Supervisors (FOCUS) Certification Programs were developed to elevate the quality and consistency of leadership within Arizona’s law enforcement community. Rooted in the principles of 21st Century Policing, the mission of these programs is to enhance leadership at every level—from Chiefs of Police to frontline supervisors—by promoting professional education, mentorship, accountability, and community engagement.
These certification programs are designed to ensure Arizona’s law enforcement leaders are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and support necessary to lead with integrity and effectiveness. By establishing measurable, attainable benchmarks in leadership development, the ACE and FOCUS programs provide a pathway for current and future leaders to demonstrate their commitment to excellence.
