START WITH TRACKING SOFTWARE

PowerDMS is a powerful document management tool, but you may find that you'll need additonal tracking capabilities.  CAPA highly recommends using a software program called Smartsheets to work with your team and track everyones progress and assignments.

If you subscribe to the software, we will provide you a template to begin tracking every aspect of your accreditation progress.  here's a sample of what that will look like:

Smartsheet allows users to simply and securely share with anyone, ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders have access to the right information at the right time.

There are two user types in Smartsheet:

  1. A licensed user is a paid user who can create new items in Smartsheet including sheets, reports, and dashboards, and share them with others.

  2. A free user is someone who does not have a paid Smartsheet license. Free users have the ability to view and/or edit the items they have been shared to, but they do not have the ability to create their own items without a license.

If you'd like to learn more about what a free and  licensed user can do, check out the Getting Started track at https://help.smartsheet.com/learning-track/free-users

Assessor On-Site Visit

This is a very exciting point in the accreditation!  You've completed your mock assessment, your files are read for review by the on-site assessors and it's time to show off your agency.

Attached are some sample copies of Welcome Packets to give you an idea of how your on-site visit should be scheduled.  This does not mean that you must stick to this exact schedule, it's just a guide and can be used as a starting point for scheduling your tours and meetings.
